Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.There is great cause for concern but rather than get into the obviousness of this story I will only note that it is so easy to pick on the Christian these days. Christians are not standing up and being counted. We are being silenced and humiliated for our faith. Christians are mocked and ridiculed and I praise Jesus for it! In His word He forewarned that we would be brought to the ‘churches and synagogues’ and be persecuted, for His name sake! (Matthew 10:16-20) I praise you Lord for fulfilling your word and I’m sure this is only the tip of the iceberg.
The ‘reporter’ in me asks many questions when I view the clip of the performance, like:
- Was the original composer contacted and didn’t that person have to release the change of the lyrics?
- Who is the original composer of this song?
- Why would the original composer allow such a blatant mutilation of the lyrics?
And you know, those questions aren’t hard to answer if you know how to Google.
Again, the larger issue here is the Spiritual Warfare that is taking place today. It’s a global pandemic of social ills and moral decay. The apostate church has taken over and is gaining momentum. Another question begs to be asked,
