News is a buzz across the blogosphere regarding Todd Bentley’s demise. Yes, his ministry is still alive and breathing. Yes, his picture has been taken off the homepage. Yes, his messages are Still there! Yes the ‘Board of directors’ have admitted to Bentley’s “unhealthy relationship” that has spawned from ‘being on the road.’ Yes, the letter posted by the current Board of Directors Still encourages people to continue attending the Outpouring Events that will continue to take place in their areas (only without the lead Blasphemer). Am I being too harsh? Am I kicking a dead horse? Am I unloving because I discern something still stirring out of Lakeland? (you can answer that as time will tell).
Once upon a time Lakeland professed to know the outcome of their anointing. They preached that they would be in these conferences until the Return of the Lord (with Todd as their leader–then). Now, there is an apologetic ‘we don’t know what the future holds.’
I do know what the future holds, when it comes to what began there in Lakeland Florida; more demonic lead outpourings and more false prophets will come out of there and other places that he visited and his ministry continues to pursue.
I read both letters on the home page of Fresh Fire ministries. They’re half-measure apologies. “For now” Todd Bentley is out of the limelight…implying that one day he might return. “For now” we have to continue with the work ‘Todd’ started, “For now?” For now what we should be seeing is a wholehearted humbling apology from Todd himself! Repent! Those who are still at this ministry haven’t repented…they still have his messages via video, books, CD’s, etc. They are still sanctifying his UNHOLY Gospel. There’s no repentance. It’s a shame really. I don’t take joy in seeing the Lord’s people who were deceived by Todd Bentley in pain and questioning their faith because they believed in a MAN instead of the Holy word of God. I get nothing from this. Why bring it up? Why bring up Todd Bentley’s dirty laundry, his sin when I have my own? Because I trust God’s word.
The Lord God said that False signs and wonders would increase! INCREASE. This was a small battle compared to the WAR that we are in. If you believe that Todd Bentley had a strange fire at the offering table, then just wait to see the fruit that will be born from what he did. These people went crazy “anointing” others, “passing” and “teaching” their “seeing powers” to undiscerning sheep. There were no documented healing from his outpouring Circus Act, but there are those suffering from oppression and possession from this demonic festival. There are hurt people all over the United States and probably Canada as well, who are aching from a lie that they believed in and defended for however long Todd’s ride was. What of them?
To those who have suffered under Todd Bentley, although the Board of Directors at Fresh Fire Ministry have ‘released you in love’ I implore you to REPENT. Seek the forgiveness of your True Father in Heaven and be cleansed by His Holy Fire! He will forgive you and restore you! His Word and His Word alone will help you pick up the pieces of your broken faith at the moment. Seek Him and you will Find Him.
To those who spent countless hours researching and documenting and reporting the slippery and fatal slope that was “the Lakeland Revival,” stop and Praise God for a victory that some people have had their eyes opened and are now seeing the truth, and then quickly if not simultaneously get back to your post, For we are at WAR brethren.

This war will strengthen and attempt to break us down, but we have the victory that was won at the Cross! The Gift of Salvation! Through a righteous and Holy Man who was fully God and fully man, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through this free gift we have been doubly blessed to be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in this world.(1 John 4:4)
